Stuffed Parathas


  • 100gms plain flour
  • 100 gms wheat flour
  • 50 ml milk
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 20 gms ghee or butter


  • 150 gms potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 4-5 green chillies, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • Salt to taste


Sift the wheat flour and plain flour together.Add yogurt, milk and little water. Knead well to a stiff dough and divide in equal portions and shape in small balls. Mix thoroughly all ingredients for stuffint.Roll dough as in case of Indian Bread and stuff with little potato-vegetable mixture.Work each piece in a ball and roll out to thin circles.Bake on a greased griddle until light brown on both sides.Serve Hot.
Variations: Different stuffing bring in the variation in Parathas. Parathas can also be prepared without any stuffing.
